Menswear prints -- houndstooth, plaids, checks, pinstripes -- are perennial faves for fall fashion. But this season designers went free-form with oversized patterns, and even mixed prints.
In real life, you may want to skip the mixy-matchy look and concentrate on wearing one bold menswear pattern (even in small doses like a hat or scarf it makes a statement).
Fall will also be the time to experiment with soft pieces like the draped skirt in menswear patterns, as opposed to the tailored pieces it often comes in (i.e. pinstripe pantsuits for women).
