[an error occurred while processing this directive] | September and the Harvest moon will be shining down on these ten great performers as they cross the country on their musical tours. I notice that there are a number of them in Las Vegas. What a great twofer - sizzling Latin music and Las Vegas night life in one big package. Put a dollar in the slots for me - we'll share the winnings! 1. ShakiraThe ever popular Shakira is winding down her tour this month, but if you're in the southern U.S., there's still a lot of dates available. 2. Ricardo ArjonaWhile in Central America, the music of Ricardo Arjona was everywhere - in restaurants, buses, clubs, internet cafes - wherever people were gathered and music played. This month you can hear this articulate, street poet for youself. Sep. 1 - Rosemont, IL, Rosemont Theatre 3. Juan GabrielJuan Gabriel was injured last year falling from a stage during a concert. That's meant cancelled performances since then, but it looks good for these three dates in Sept. Sep. 15,16 - Las Vegas, NV, The Colosseum at Caesars Palace 4. Paulina RubioPaulina Rubio and her album Pau-Latina are really hot right now. Hopefully it won't be too hot in Tucson to go hear a great entertainer. Sep. 16 - Tucson, AZ, Ava Anselmo Valencia Amphitheater 5. Alejandro FernandezAlejandro Fernandez can sing a mean ranchera with his father Vicente, but pop music is more his style. Great voice, charismatic personality and sex appeal will all be waiting for you in his one Las Vegas concert. Sep. 16 - Las Vegas, NV, Mandalay Bay Resort 6. Obie BermudezPop singer Bermudez has had a great run with his current album, Todo El Ano. His new one, Lo Que Trajo El Barco is going to be released soon. You'll probably get to hear songs from both at this NY concert. Sep. 29 - New York, NY, S.O.B.'s 7. Musica FrescaHip-hop's Akwid, reggaeton's Voltio, New York funk fusion band Yerba Buena and Latin rock's Radio Mundial are the headliners of this magical musical tour. 8. Pepe AguilarMexican Pepe Aguilar is a true slashee. He's a singer / songwriter/ musicians / composer / producer that mixes traditional ranchera with more modern rhythms and has won the heart of much of the Latin world. Sep. 15 - Las Vegas, NV, Mandalay Bay Resort 9. JaguaresRock en Espagnol's Jaguares is well worth your dime if you like anthemic, alternative rock. The Chicago concert has Conjunto Primavera, Ramon Ayala and Aventura to sweeten the pot. Sep. 3 - Minneapolis, MN, First Avenue with Conjunto Primavera, Ramon Ayala, Aventura 10. El Gran SilencioAnother great rock en Espagnol band, this one with rap undertones, comes to you from Monterrey, Mexico. Sep. 17 - New York, NY, S.O.B.'s |
