Stranger Than Fiction Will Ferrell plays an IRS agent whose life is narrated by a novelist (Emma Thompson) hoping for a comeback with what she feels could be the best book of her career.
Kay Eiffel (Thompson) is unaware a real man with the same name as her book's protagonist is being guided by what she writes. Harold (Ferrell) is the only person who can hear her narration and when she comes up with a scheme to kill him off at the end of her book, he's forced to try and stop the events she's set in motion in her novel from actually occurring.
Stranger Than Fiction announces itself on November 10, 2006.
