Casino Royale's heading to the screen with a lot of baggage, and with some outspoken Bond enthusiasts salivating over the chance to knock the latest James Bond project when it finally hits theaters.
The casting of Daniel Craig raised a lot of eyebrows, but I'm one of those who had no problem with Craig landing the Bond, James Bond role. If it couldn't be Pierce Brosnan, then why not Daniel Craig? Did you see him in Layer Cake? Craig's sexy, can act, and he definitely can handle action scenes. Yes he's blonde, but does hair color matter that much? The main concern should be does Craig have the acting chops to handle the role of the iconic supersuave spy? Moviegoers and Bond fans should try and get over the hype and make that determination for themselves in mid-November. Casino Royale stirs things up on November 17, 2006.
